This is really getting sick that young kids like myself, I will admit, go on Myspace and advertise themselves as nineteen years old, or something stupid like that. I wish your computer could just somehow get your birth date and automatically put it in the spot, or Myspace not be a dating website, but as much as I want that to happen before I come back, I know sadly, it will not. So, how can we fix these naughty teenagers/children from doing this, their parents/guardian should just block the site the first time they do this because so many do this. I bet everyone one of us knows someone who lies about their age to date. This is not right!

Gamers that are tired of PVE, game speak for “Player Versus Environment”, can now have their favorite game characters join the quest to “save the environment”. The Science and Environmental Health Network has joined with SmartMeme.com, QuantumShift.tv, and other key socially conscious partners to launch the “Quest 2 Change Real Life” Online International Machinima Festival ( http://www.Quest2ChangeRL.com )

Machinima is the hottest new media phenomenon in online virtual worlds. In machinima, video and filmmakers use the virtual worlds of video games (like SecondLife.com or World of Warcraft) as the setting for their narrative short movies. The New York Times recently described machinima as “what you get when gamers stop blasting aliens for a second and start messing with the narrative.” Video games already bring in more revenue than Hollywood films, and online games are attracting tens of millions of players.

The goal of the Quest 2 Change RL contest is for video and filmmakers to create under five-minute machinima videos that will address the ecological crisis, like the climate crisis, extinction and biodiversity loss, and environmental justice. Videomakers are encouraged to incorporate solutions, like the “guardianship of future generations” and the “precautionary principle”, in their submitted videos. This is the first-ever social issue-themed international online machinima contest to encourage action to protect Real Life (known in online speak as RL).

Non-videomakers can join in on the Quest as well, and enter the contest as a “shifter” to earn points, unlock puzzles and bonus videos, and win prizes. I actually listened to Spark! yesterday! I must say, it was a very interesting podcast, to tell the truth, reminded me a lot of Menuet of TheX, but it wasn't ... it was Candace Holly of Spark! which this time, talks more then just geeky stuffs, it talks about everything that you email in and say it should talk about it. That's right, Spark! is a complete listener-orientated podcast that talks about whatever you want to hear so you don't have to learn about six new things on the news. So how was the first podcast so succesful? One of Candace's friends emailed in and told her she should talk about account security and how it could be comprised(Hacked) and how you could keep it safe/prevent a comprimise account. Friday, February 29th, 2008, a 17 year old senior committed suicide. No one knows why he did it, we just want everyone to take a moment of silence to remember him. Terra Linda High School decided to keep his name confidential to protect his family. Please, in spirit, pray for this young man. If you know him, please give prayer to his family. I did not know this kid personally, but it affected everyone in my school. The school set up counselors in the library to help everyone who is deeply affected by this, whether it be friends, or other students contemplating suicide. It saddens me when someone commits suicide and even more so, when not even the local news mentions it, just a little bit.

Oxygen had this idea to make a music video about this song, so I made this music video with Oxygen the main star and all three receptionists from Spiffworld's Code Monkey and Speed Monkey as background dancers, I have no offense against Spiff and if it does, I'm sotry Spiff. To end, I decided to have Dr. Martin lure away his love(s) then Coppermace realizing and running off stage. Sorry for the green screen a little bit, hope it doesn't show up, and hope you enjoy it! Oxygen was really mad about what ESRB and Blizzard was doing to machinima producers so we made a movie about it and in no way is this ralating to Oxhorn's "Oxhorn Tells Off Xfire...kinda"

Enough of my movie, I recently today just saw the new movie, or at least I think it's new, Fred Clause and I can tell you, it's got it's comedy, action, and drama. At the beginning of the movie, it shows you when Fred and Nick were children and when Nick was first born, he was the fattest baby of that time and Fred made the promise that he'd love him forever, but over time, Fred forgot that promise and started resenting him because his parents always said, "Why can't you be more like Nicholas?" Or at least that's what his mother had always said. The movie then took you to modern time in 2007 with Fred as a repo-man and whenever anyone said anything good about Sandy Claws, I mean Santa Clause, Fred always said something against him because he simply resented his brother. Now, I won't say any more because I have other things to talk about and I don't want to get this post too big.

Okay, now you see that two people currently contribute to this blog, and soon you will see three and that person will be myself, mainly because I never use the email address I use to write this blog and it's just easier to use my current one. One more thing, be absolute sure to PICK YOUR FRIENDS!!! I have some assholes for friends. The ESRB and a new writer for Off the Set...?

I recently told Oxygen what the ESRB and Blizzard are doing to machinimators like Oxhorn, Baka Savants, Witty Wizard, Ian Beckman, Stone Falcon Productions, and other machinima creators, so Oxygen and I decided to make a joint production movie of "Coppermace tells off the ESRB" presented by CR Productions and DeadAir Productions. Please tell us what you think on either the forums, or my youtube page. Okay, the reason why we're doing this is because we don't think it's fair that machinimators have to make their movies "T" rated and have to censor their movies of curse words and what not and we don't think that's fair.

Now, yes "Off the Set" will have a new writer if I ever forget to write a blog for the day, or if I don't have any news, or if I have internet troubles like I had a few days ago. That's all, see you next post, or wait maybe I won't, maybe it'll be Oxygen posting, see ya next time I post!

Internet and Daily Blog?

I have finally gotten my good internet back up. I am so happy I can do all the things I couldn't for a few days. I am not going to play Xbox Live for a while for two reasons, one, it was a painful experience getting my internet back up and two, I only have to Xbox Live video games, Halo 3 and Gears of War, which get pretty boring after awhile, especially after playing to you win after 19 rounds with obnoxious players, hope none of them are my fans...

Now, I am trying to have a daily blog, so I will try to post every single day from now on, but I'm not promising anything. Just a quick post about Nitrod007's company's website which is as well, a one-man company like moi, and DeadAir Productions pretty much, anyway, Nitrod's website is a tiptop website so don't go saying to him it sucks becuase it's a free website just like mine, but it's still a website, I might ask him if he wants me to get a freewebs website up and running for him if he wants, but I don't know. Now, he doesn't have any movies on his site, or linking to his Youtube so bear with him. What I hate? I'll tell ya what I hate. Cheaters and hackers. So I was playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory today with Oxygen and we doing pretty good on the Axis alliance then we got to this one map. The United States alliance just started to murder us(literally) and Oxygen and I were lagging like crazy. Now I admit I lag a little bit, but not like this, I wasn't able to play and as for Oxygen, he doesn't lag at all and we both have high-speed cable, not some dial-up, or 56k modem form 1987 so we knew something was up. So we said what had to be said that the allies were cheating and I cussed a few times because I was mad at them and I wanted to mess with them so they banned me, but they kinda had a reason for banning me for cussing them out, but they also banned Oxygen which was no fair, he did nothing wrong, I swear to the God I don't like and that's saying something. Now they had suspicions that Oxygen and I were the same people, but I've got plenty of people who can deny that so in other words, my conjecture as to why at least my IP Address is banned is because their too chicken to admit they cheated because they were losing. I myself have never wanted to cheat, or has cheated in an online game even when you can...

My computer just can't handle it. I might get a new computer, or more memory. I've been thinking about getting a Dell customized as a gaming computer and getting a laptop for work only use aside from the internet, I mean no games on that computer. I'm trying to think of other games to play. I'm thinking of Counterstrike, but idk for sure. If you people have any ideas of games I should play, leave a comment to this post. Yep, no more videos from me. That's all I have to say. I'm moving in the next few weeks so don't expect me to be active that much. I'll probably be inactive for about 1-2 weeks tops unless I get grounded which I shouldn't. The Wedding

I just recently filmed a movie of two people who are married in real life decided to have a wedding in World of Warcraft for fun. Their World of Warcraft names are Addinone, and Briene. Coppermace was the priest because he was the only one to know what to say which wasn't that much. Addinone and his wife are going to redo the movie because some people had to leave before the wedding and I never had time to prepare. I finally made this stupid(well it's not stupid) but I put this off because I was afraid one person would just completely flame me. Well, first...on to World of Warcraft. When I'm not making machinima, The Movies: Stunts & Effects. or making a podcast with Rockyroadtod, I'm playing on my Human Warlock named Dieoxide on the Antonidas server.
